Student Nurse Intern Application

Applications must be submitted by April 6, 2026

The FCHN is seeking a motivated and compassionate Junior or Senior Nursing Student to join our team as a Student Nurse Intern. This position will offer the opportunity to contribute to the mission of the Faith Community Health Network while gaining experience in community health, nursing, and nonprofit operations. In addition, this intern will have opportunities to assist in creating and maintaining social media content to promote the organization’s activities, events, and services. The student nurse intern position expires upon completion of the student nursing degree or exit from nursing program/courses.

Required Documents

    • Include a brief 1-page cover letter detailing their interest in the position and how they meet the qualifications.
    • Include an unofficial copy or copies of your college transcripts.
    • Letter of reference from a nursing faculty member at the school which you are attending that includes their current contact information (email and phone number)
    • Letter of reference from a spiritual leader (faith leader, pastor, elder, etc.) that includes their current contact information (email and phone number).

Include an unofficial copy or copies of your most recent high school or college transcripts. If you are attending OSU for the first time in fall 2026 include your latest high school transcript, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or ORSAA (Oregon Student Aid Application) that includes the Student Aid Index which will be used to determine financial need. If you are a current undergraduate at OSU or another college/university, include your latest transcript along with financial aid and transcript information.

    Notification of Acceptance or Denial

    Notification of acceptance or denial to this position will be sent via email no later than April 30th. It is expected that the Student Nurse Intern appointed to this position will be present for the May meeting of the Board and serve through May of the following year.
